Claire Lynch

Claire Lynch is one of the best recognized performers in Bluegrass music. She was honored as Best Female Vocalist by the International Bluegreass Music Association in 1997, 2010 and 2013. She also received recognaition in 2010 for Song of the Year and Recorded Event of the Year. She received the prestigious United States Artists Walker Fellowship in 2012 that is given to influential and innovative artists in their field.. She has two Grammy Awards for Best Bluegrass Albums: 1995 - Moonlighter and 2016 North by South.

The current Claire Lynch Band features Jim Hurst (2-time IBMA Guitar Player of the Year) on guitar and banjo; Bryan McDowell (Winfield multi-champion) on fiddle and mandolin, and bassist Michael Gaisbacher - recent graduate of Berkeley College of Music in Boston.

Dolly Parton honors her as "one of the sweetest and purest and best lead voices in the music industry." She is also a gifted songwriter recorded by The Seldom Scene, Patty Loveless, Kathy Matea, Cherryholmes, The Whites and others.
